Firm Wins Commerical Arbitration For Investor
Denlea & Carton recently obtained a multi-million dollar verdict on behalf of an individual investor in an arbitration held before the American Arbitration Association. The dispute, which arose from a false promise by a hedge fund principal to secure a seven-figure loan with a commercial mortgage, included claims for breach of contract against the fund, and for fraud individually against the fund’s principal. After a multi-day hearing and lengthy briefing, the firm prevailed on all claims.
