Denlea & Carton Prevails Before EEOC
In a recent matter before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Firm prevailed in having the EEOC terminate its investigation into an alleged employment discrimination claim without an adverse finding. The EEOC’s refusal to proceed with its investigation, after reviewing the Firm’s position statement in response to the charge of discrimination, avoids a potentially lengthy and expensive EEOC investigation, and deprives the Charging Party of contending in any subsequent lawsuit that the alleged claims are supported by the EEOC. The Firm is pleased to have achieved such an early and successful disposition for its client.
