Firm Presents To ACC Sports & Entertainment Committee
Jeff Carton and Joanna Sandolo recently presented a “Legal Quick Hit” on “Venue Liability Waivers: Protecting Against Spectator Injuries” to the Sports & Entertainment Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
The discussion focused on the recent class action filed against Major League Baseball seeking to require all major league ball parks to extend protective netting from foul pole to foul pole, and explored ways in which team owners and stadium operators can insulate themselves from liability arising from spectator injuries.
